Hi Sasha! It is true your skin can develop a “tolerance” for certain products, just like food or chemicals…depending on your age, your skin may break out from stress, diet or most likely hormones. Since you mentioned more blackheads, that tells me its not so much a hormone / pimple eruption problem as your pores are clogged and not sloughing the cells off the way they should. Blackheads are caused by blocked, plugged pores that oxidize (turn black) when they hit the surface of the skin and harden. You might try a new formula with 2% salicylic acid or a completely natural product to help your skin regenerate. Also try a mild facial scrubber - a soft facial brush or a scrubbing pad to slough off dead cells around the nose area. Just be sure to pick a product that is formulated for your skin type.

Hi i have never suffered with my skin before but recently a lot of blackheads came up on my forehead and on my face near my nose but not on my nose they came up about 4months ago and havent went away but they havent been spreading either,im not sure what could have caused this my mum says stress through exams but im not sure,i would also like to know that if i use the same product for too long does it stop working ? iv been using garnier blackhead clearing scrub for 2yrs and my skin used to be spotless but now it doesnt seem to be working anymore,im thinking of switching to a rooibos range is this a good idea ? please give me some good advice

I like the Made from Earth website because they list all their ingredients in plain English. On the box every ingredient has the standard latin based name and the English explanation of it. For example, “butyrospermum parkii butter – shea butter”. Very convenient. Cause latin and me never really got along too well…

i have changed my facial cleanser, body wash to Made from Earth, they have a fabulous line for different skin types. i like their lotions too

and i don’t use avalon anymore. i’d rather be able to know in plain english what those ingredients are.

and sorry, but natures gate is full of crap, i asked them straight up at greenfest why they still make these products with crap in them… they said, well we have blah blah # of products and it takes a while to change. blah blah blah. as is neutrogena, alba, kiss my face,

READ YOUR LABELS!! we’ve got to pay attention now.

do not purchase things with parabens in them, or sls, or phenols, or propylene glycol

(this is just info, don’t take it personally please) …look at made from earth - its a clear winner
